Victoria Yap is a Singaporean-American actress based in Houston, TX and Los Angeles, CA. She has been featured in numerous print campaigns and commercials, both national and local, for brands like: Fixodent, Dallas Methodist Hospital, Edward Jones, Canada Dry, Dell, HCA Hospital, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and the Texas Workforce Commission. In a narrative space, one of Victoria’s favorite projects has been working with fellow Houstonian cast and crew on the independent film Life Insurance Lottery. Other film credits include Rage Fear Love, The Cure, and Minato.

When Victoria isn’t working in front of the camera, she also plays a key role as a Producer and Set Designer behind the camera. Frequently collaborating with Houston’s own Banjo Beaver Productions and Front Pocket Productions, Victoria has helped bring many stories to life including: Lucky Penny, Lips Like Fire, and a multilingual pilot called Ehsaas-E-Zindagi.

Victoria is also passionate about advocacy and the arts. She works closely with a production company, Interactive Advocacy, that focuses on creating films for cultural change and social impact. Through this company, Victoria has had the opportunity to advocate and perform in front of audiences full of victim advocates, military officers, and government personnel with a focus on violence prevention.

In her free time, Victoria enjoys working out, playing tennis, reading, playing the piano, and spending time with her friends and family. Her love of the outdoors often leads her into the mountains for hiking and camping during the summer and snowboarding during the winter.
